The dichotomous nature of our Garage Tinker – both sassy and sweet – recalls antiheroes, Thelma and Louise, and is sure to take you on a wild escape. Indicative of both high desert vineyards and the picturesque yet desolate landscape through which they drive, enticing aromas of blackberry, tomato leaf, lavender, and sage present on the nose. Exhibiting maturity like Louise and youthful charisma like Thelma, the palate reveals a medium-bodied and juicy texture, complemented by notes of blackberry and Chambord liqueur. Sweet barrel spice and firm tannins, supported by vibrant, citrus-laced acidity, contribute to a refined mid-palate experience, a testament to Thelma and Louise’s connection which surpasses the differences of character and contradicted personalities. All these assertive flavors and lovely buoyancy culminate in the poetic but brutal finish, where you will ask yourself, “what if we just kept driving (aka drinking Tinker)?”
